Confederation of Passenger Transport is the National UK Trade Association of Bus and Coach operators. It provides advice and assistance to operators, and acts as a lobbying organisation to government and the EU. North Somerset Coaches has been a member since 2007.

 

The Coach Operators Federation is a South-West based organisation founded in 1955. Monthly meetings discuss developments in the industry and provide opportunities to build positive relationships with other operators. North Somerset Coaches has been a member since 1968.

 

ROSCO is dedicated to improving road safety for operators and drivers. Every year accident-free drivers are awarded a safe driving certificate, together with special awards at 5, 10, 15 etc years. ROSCO also produce posters and literature to encourage safe driving, and hold conferences and seminars through the year. North Somerset Coaches has been a member since 2007.

 

NAILSEA CHAMBER OF TRADE

Nailsea Chamber of Trade is the umbrella organisation representing local businesses in the town. The chamber also organises the successful “Christmas Fair”, which we support with a free bus service.

North Somerset Coaches has been a member since 2009.

ABUS operate double-deck bus services from Bristol (Centre) to Stockwood and Keynsham. Also a large number of school services, plus football specials, supermarket free buses and Bath RUH Park & Ride.

 

Hookways Pleasureways are a leading Westcountry coach operator, with depots in Bude, Meeth, Exeter, Exmouth and Torquay.

 

Somerbus operate a high-quality network of low-floor bus services around Midsomer Norton, Radstock and Shepton Mallet.

 

 

PS Travel, also based in Nailsea, specialise in 16-seater luxury mini-coach hire and also operate a variety of special holiday tours using top-class full-size coaches.

VOSA is the government agency responsible for licensing and enforcing the safe operation of buses, coaches and lorries in the UK. On their website you can find out about the safety standards that all operators must achieve.

 

 

Citistar operate route 52 from Highridge and Bishopsworth into Bristol City Centre. Day and return tickets are inter-available with North Somerset Coaches
