Our fares policy is to charge simple, easy-to-remember fares that are good value for money. We take pride in employing professional drivers that we hope take care of you while you travel with us, and aim to operate the most modern, comfortable and reliable vehicles we can justify. More passengers travelling leads to improvements in vehicle quality and service frequency. The rapidly rising cost of fuel (up 11p-per-mile for our buses since October 2010) affects the fares we charge but we also recognise that increased private motoring costs are a great way of getting people to try the bus, so we try to keep our fares as low and simple as possible. We have postponed, indefinitely, our planned 1st September 2011 increase in fares, so we can carry on saying we have NEVER increased our fares!
