North Somerset Coaches

Only holders of valid 2010-11 school year passes may travel, and these must show the letter “J” on them.
Any queries about changing buses or passes should be addressed to the School Transport Team at North Somerset Council.

Students should look for the letter “J” on the front of the coach.

In the afternoon, the coach will pick-up from the bay lettered “J” at school.

From Backwell Station to Nailsea School, this service connects at Nailsea & Backwell Station with train arrivals at 0806 from Bristol, Bedminster and Parson Street, and at 0812 from Weston-super-Mare, Worle and Yatton giving a service from Backwell to Nailsea School. (Note there is no afternoon journey from Nailsea).

From Nailsea to Backwell School there is a morning and afternoon service covering all parts of Nailsea.

Operating from The Perrings, via Whiteoak Way, Hannah More Road, Queens Road, Mizzymead Road, Stock Way North, High Street, Lodge Lane, Trendlewood Way and Station Road.

The 10-journey ticket is £8 for 10 single journeys and can be bought on the bus from the driver.

Capacity: You do not need to book a place to travel. A 77-seat vehicle operates this route and we do not anticipate any crowding issues this September.

From Cabot Circus via Victoria Street, Temple Meads (Bottom of Station Approach), A4 Bath Road, Wells Road, Broad Walk, Redcatch Road, St. Johns Lane, East Street, North Street, Winterstoke Road, Ashton Gate, Rownham Hill, Abbots Leigh.

Daily Fares for 2010- 2011 are held at

£3.00 single or £4.00 day return.

Season Ticket Fares

10-JOURNEY TICKET is valid for 10 single trips, in any direction, and is valid for one month. It gives more flexibility and can be shared by siblings, and a friend can travel home with the ticket holder by using up two journeys on the ticket.

The 10-journey ticket is £17.50 and can be bought on the bus from the driver. Cheques are acceptable, made payable to North Somerset Coaches please.
